There have been some undue criticisms of the Employee Engagement Task Force. Yet, for me, it is the most significant event for our profession since the original launch of the MacLeod report back in July 2009, and well done to David MacLeod and his team for their tenacity and resilience to gain Government support despite a change of administration. The unspoken truth is that David and his team have done this work on a voluntary, unpaid basis. I wonder how many “cold and timid souls” would have been prepared to do the same?
